Great News! Some good guys to head up the Treasury Select Committee who seem to realise that the FSA is out of control! - See the 'must read. report
The Talking Point: "New Chairman for the Treasury Select Committee"
Michael Fallon MP, and Andrew Tyrie MP are both good men and perhaps men that the FSA will not want to see heading the Treasury Select Committee. However, my vote is for Andrew Tyrie as he was the co author of the Leviathan at Large. For those of you that have read this document you will know that Andrew is well aware that the FSA is out of control, a Leviathan At Large!
As a matter of general interest Harriet Baldwin MP also worked on this important document. Harriet was very supportive of the IFA cause at a recent meeting along with Robin Walker MP and Mark Garnier MP. This was the meeting criticized by Chris Cummings of AIFA on the basis that it risked upsetting other more diplomatic work with the likes of Mark Hoban MP. I fully support diplomacy but that rather assumes you have a dialog with a reasonable body rather than a Leviathan.
The Leviathan At Large is a must read and I encourage anyone with an interest in human rights to download their own copy ...and read it. Maybe there is light at the end of this very dark tunnel? The tide is turning, and the Leviathan may not be at large for much longer.
