Bridgewater Equity Release has today (11th June 2014) announced it will be heading to Peterborough next month to hold the latest of its roundtable workshops for specialist equity release advisers.

The roundtable sessions are aimed at helping equity release advisers understand more about the sector they work in and provide the opportunity for attendees to quiz a number of experts and their peers on a variety of topics.

Chairing the workshops will be Chris Prior of Bridgewater and there will be a specific focus in Peterborough on the legal implications of releasing equity and how the products might be utilised in funding long-term care fees. Peter Barton of Ashford’s Solicitors and Jeremy Davies of Symponia will be at the event to take questions and provide insight on these topics.

This is the fourth roundtable of its kind and will be held on Tuesday 15th July at the offices of Annuity Line at Annuity House, 52 Forder Way, Hampton, Peterborough PE7 8JB.

The event begins at 10am for coffee with the roundtable starting at 10.30am and finishing at 12.30, followed by lunch and the opportunity for further networking.

Places are limited, so interested advisers should contact Chris Prior immediately on cprior@bridgewaterequityrelease.co.uk

Chris Prior, Manager, Sales and Distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, commented:

“Having previously held three roundtable workshops and received positive feedback on the structure and content of these events, we have decided to hold another before the summer break. This time we are heading to Peterborough and hope to welcome advisers from the region to a session, the content of which will be set by everyone round the table. We have experts in both the legal and long-term care fields with us and I am sure there will many equity release advisers who have numerous questions on these topics plus we are able to cover a range of related matters. Often the most interesting and informative debates are between advisers themselves as this event gives everyone a chance to network and discuss relevant matters with their immediate peer group. Previous workshops have often been eye-openers for many advisers as they gain knowledge on what works, and what doesn’t, in the equity release advice space. We are certainly looking forward to hearing the thoughts and questions of all attendees on the 15th July and would urge anyone interested in attending to get in touch quickly as spaces are limited.”
