Industry movers and shakers help Mortgage Brain celebrate 30th Birthday

23 May 2017

UK, May 22, 2017: Over 300 guests from the UK mortgage market attended Mortgage Brain’s 30th Birthday celebration and helped raise £50,814 in sponsorship and donations for its designated charities.

The celebration, a fundraising event which will see all monies raised being split between a number of nominated charities – the Alzheimer’s Society, Birmingham Christmas Shelter, Contact the Elderly, MDS UK Patient Support Group, Shooting Star Children’s Hospice, Compassion International and Haiti Orphanage Project Espwa - took place at the Hilton London Bankside on Thursday (27th April).

Launched in 1986 to provide mortgage advisers with a simple way to source and illustrate mortgage products available in the market, Mortgage Brain has grown and developed and continues to be the best, most innovative and forward thinking mortgage technology solutions providers.

Over the past 30 years Mortgage Brain has led the way and maintained its position at the forefront of the industry for the development and provision of business critical and market-leading mortgage technology and associated services.

Mark Lofthouse, CEO of Mortgage Brain, said, “Thirty years ago computers were powered by an Intel 286 processor. These days we’ve all got what could be called super computers at our fingertips. We’ve moved from floppy discs to the digital age and through many stages in between. Throughout this time Mortgage Brain has led the market and remained a consistent driving force within the industry.

“Reaching our 30th Birthday is a significant achievement, and as well as giving us the opportunity to celebrate, it was a perfect opportunity to say thank you to our business partners, friends, colleagues and associates.

“It was also the perfect opportunity to help raise much needed funds for several great causes and I would like to thank everyone who has helped us raise over £50,000 for charity, which will make a huge difference to the people they help.”

Donations can still be made to the nominated charities, which are all actively supported through fundraising or volunteering by one or more of Mortgage Brain’s employees.
