PARADIGM TO HOST MMR TWITTER DEBATE

Following on from Paradigm Group’s recent successful Twitter debate on protection, Paradigm Mortgage Services, the mortgage services proposition, has today (10th April 2014) announced it is also to use social media as a means of widening the debate and exploring issues about the forthcoming implementation of the Mortgage Market Review (MMR).
Paradigm will be holding a live Twitter debate on Tuesday 15th April between 2 and 3:30pm. Paradigm is inviting advisers and providers to actively participate in the debate by tweeting questions or comments to @Paradigm_Mtgs using the #Paradigm hashtag.
Advisers will also be able to submit questions prior to the session by emailing Riona.Mulherin@paradigmgroup.eu and they will be answered during the session.
Paradigm Mortgage Services has taken the lead in informing directly authorised (DA) firms about MMR and its implications. It has issued a number of MMR-specific updates and bulletins over the past nine months as the FCA has released information on how brokers and lenders will transact business under the new MMR regulations.
The Twitter debate is the latest MMR initiative from Paradigm and will help brokers explore any last-minute questions and issues they may have. Lenders such as Precise Mortgages have agreed to take part in order to provide a lender viewpoint on the changes they have had to make to their systems and processes.
