Financial Intermediary service cherry today announces that IFA, mortgage and insurance advisers can now use the cherry forum for staff recruitment – and it’s free of charge

13 August 2014

cherry, the forum for the UK financial adviser industry, has today launched a new service, allowing financial, insurance and mortgage advisers to advertise job positions on the site, completely free of charge.

“We have had a lot of requests for this service, and so by popular demand we are pleased to unveil this new facility which aims to help and support the cherry  user base,” said cherry managing director Donna Hopton.

“As the service is used by industry professionals, it is an ideal platform for users who want to recruit from the pool of industry experts,” added Hopton.

“The service is intended to be used for actual recruitment, as well as ‘situations wanted’ ads, rather than for those wishing to recruit business introducers. It is only available free to intermediaries,” she said.

The new feature is simple to use: “All intermediaries have to do is create a new topic for each role, calling the topic by the description of the role and its geographical location, and then mark the item as complete once the job is filled,” added Hopton.

The forums are already a popular place for professionals, offering advice and discussion for advisers and this latest feature will continue cherry’s policy of supporting its users and helping the community to grow.

“Initial take-up has been excellent and this is clearly a service that will become very popular,” said Hopton.
