Shawbrook creates Senior Loan Manager role to enhance post-completion service

Shawbrook Bank has promoted Joylie Bates to the position of Senior Loan Manager within its Commercial Mortgages division.
 
In this newly created role, Joylie will be responsible for building strong relationships with broker partners, surveyors and solicitors to ensure the customer’s journey post-completion is as smooth as possible. The Senior Loan Manager acts as a point of referral for post-completion applications and enquiries, whilst maintaining a high standard of client communications and ensuring the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to. 
 
Since joining Shawbrook in July 2014, Joylie has been working within the Operations Team as a Commercial Loans Portfolio Officer. Before arriving in the UK, Joylie built up 15 years of mortgage lending experience in Australia.
 
Joylie commented on her new role:
 
“I have worked in a variety of roles within the mortgage lending sector, both in the UK and Australia, and it’s incredibly satisfying to be able to develop my knowledge and experience further with this promotion. Brokers are vital to our business model and I relish the scope this new role provides to help their cases continue smoothly post-completion.”
