The Right Mortgage is keeping in touch with their members at another successful National Training Event

04 December 2018

On Thursday, The Right Mortgage & Protection Network held its largest bi-annual National Training Event to date, which focused on the importance of keeping members in touch with customers to drive more business. The event took place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, with over 220 attendees and over 60 lender and provider partners in attendance.

Martin Wilson, CEO of the Network, opened the event by touching on the networks ethos of trust, respect and partnership which has been pivotal to their milestone of recently hitting 400 members in just three years.

The event closed with a keynote speech from international speaker, Phil M Jones who motivated attendees by knowing the secret to getting what you want by asking questions affectively in their sales pitches and how they can stay in control of the conversation with their clients.

Speaking about the day, Martin said: “It was the best event we’ve ran with an incredible turnout from members, providers and staff, with everyone involved getting a tremendous amount out of the day.”

Adam Stretton, Managing Director of the Network added, “We were pleased to showcase our regular roundtables from top providers, and after feedback from our members, introduced the networks Director roundtables covering compliance, marketing, technology and sales & development.”

Those with a competitive streak entered competitions throughout the day in aid of raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, which we all know as one of the UKs largest cancer support charities.

Phil M Jones, keynote speaker on Thursday and author of three influential sales guides, said: “It’s a delight for me to see so many passionate, highly qualified, highly talented advisers in one place. And I’m excited to see how they can help people achieve more of their goals within their properties.”

Lee Denton, Head of Sales at Source Insurance said: “It’s always a pleasure attending The Right Mortgage National Training Events. The day is well organised and well attended with advisers keen to learn and do more business. From a provider point of view we are made to feel valued and also part of a true partnership.”

The Network hold a number of other workshops and training events throughout the year, with its new Technology Masterclasses being held on 13th December in Solihull.
