Fleet Mortgages appoint two new BDMs

21 June 2019

Fleet Mortgages, the buy-to-let specialist lender, has announced the appointment of two new business development managers (BDMs).

Jacqui Simmons joins Fleet as Senior BDM covering the South East region, while Katy Williams joins as BDM covering the Midlands.

Jacqui joins Fleet Mortgages after holding a number of sales and business development positions, most recently with Magellan Homeloans, and prior to this, Castle Trust.

Katy has worked within the mortgage market for the past seven years, in both the intermediary market and for high-street lenders. Her most recent position was at a specialist lender/packager.

Both will report to Fleet’s National Sales Manager, Graham Le Bas, and be responsible for developing new and existing adviser relationships within their region.

Steve Cox, Distribution Director of Fleet Mortgages, commented:

“Part of the success of Fleet is having quality sales and BDM staff both out on the road and within our head office. The appointment of both Jacqui and Katy to these BDM positions bolsters our service offering across the South East and the Midlands and ensures advisers have access to excellent individuals who can help them with individual cases while developing their overall buy-to-let business offering.

“Jacqui has an excellent track record of working with brokers and packagers to help them identify opportunities and further develop their businesses, while Katy’s invaluable experience enables her to understand the challenges broker’s face when trying to place cases and ensure they are managed through to completion. I’m sure both will be a huge asset to Fleet and the firms within their regions, providing service excellence, experience and a quality understanding of their requirements.”
