Dear all,

I tend get advised about what goes in some of the Adviser Forums, such as cherry.  In recent years, many advisers have apparently been extolling the virtues of being Directly Authorised.  I understand in recent weeks there have been quite a few posts from DA advisers reporting some of the difficulties, costs and extra work involved in being Directly Authorised, such as dealing with periodic FCA assessments, projects, enquiries, PI insurance difficulties, FCA Meetings, management systems and controls, questionnaires, BRAW, Consumer Credit authorisation, the Gabriel return etc.

If you would like to discuss this, or consider a low cost personal Network offering to allow you to concentrate on advising your clients, please contact either of the below.
