Understanding the State Benefits available to the over 55’s
· What are the current benefits available
· What grants are available
· What is the impact on some ones benefits by taking out an equity release plan
· What is an over 55 entitled to The taxation system and the elderly client
· Personal taxation allowance
· Impacts on tax allowances
· IHT made simple
· PET (potentially Exempt Tax) rules
· The effects of tax on various sources of retirement income including annuities
This course will also go towards structured CPD if you are a member of the Later Life Academy or not, and a certificate will be sent to confirm this.
