Sort Group, of which SortRefer is a major division, has appointed Jessica Szczelkun to the newly created role of Sales & Relationship Director.

According to Sort Group CEO, Kevin Tunnicliffe, the business is expanding rapidly and it became imperative that a director level appointment was made to oversee the sales, marketing and relationship functions for the Group.

He said, “Jess has done an exemplary job for us since she joined and with her background and the positive contribution she has made to the business, she was the ideal candidate for this much expanded role.”

Jessica joined SortRefer in July last year to manage the relationships with conveyancing service suppliers for its online portal. She is a fully qualified solicitor, obtaining her LLB Hons law degree in 2000 and qualifying as a solicitor in 2003. She worked in a high street practice until 2012 before becoming a mortgage broker, specialising in residential, BTL mortgages and protection.

Jessica said, “I am delighted to take on this new role within the business. SortRefer has made massive strides this year and with more initiatives being launched through Sort Group, I am fortunate to have the growing nucleus of a great team to help build and sustain the business going forward. Along with other new appointments due to be announced, I am sure that SortRefer will remain at the leading edge of intermediary focused conveyancing services. We have a few exciting projects in the pipeline, as well as planned enhancements to the SortRefer system.
