OMS granted ISO 27001 certification

The International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) is a global body that collects and manages various standards for different disciplines. ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard for information security management systems (ISMS), providing an approach for firms to manage and protect sensitive information. OMS began this certification journey in September 2023, during which time it has developed over 150 new policies and procedures which are now firmly embedded into the business at all levels.
The certification process involved a comprehensive assessment conducted by the British Standards Institute (BSI), a renowned accreditation body known for its stringent evaluation criteria and gold star accreditation. This certification process is highly robust, requiring organisations to undergo thorough audits of their information security practices and demonstrate compliance with ISO 27001 standards throughout the whole business.
