11 April 2024

Aspen Bridging has appointed Stephen Hickman as Senior Risk Assessor and Kyle Taylor as Recoveries Manager, bringing in over two decades of specialist finance industry experience.

Stephen will be responsible for reviewing all applications as part of the firm’s risk function as well as assessing works cases from application stage and throughout the term of the loan until completion.

Kyle will manage the recoveries function, bringing his lengthy experience to the company to ensure that Aspen’s processes are up-to-date, works for customers and brings results.

Both Stephen and Kyle join from One Saving Bank where they both worked for over 10 years, most recently holding the titles of Bridging Senior Specialist Underwriter and Senior Bridging Recoveries Manager respectively.

So far this year Aspen has also appointed Ian Miller-Hawes as Sales Director and Mike Allen as Business Development Manager as well as making numerous promotions across its Risk, Underwriting and Credit teams.

The lender has also unveiled a new logo and a refreshed website as the company aims to realise £1bn in total lending in the next few years, having recently reached the £500m landmark from when the company was founded in 2017.

Jack Coombs, Managing Director at Aspen Bridging, said: “The appointments, promotions and changes we’ve made this year will have a significant positive impact on our growth trajectory.

“Stephen and Kyle bring a huge wealth of experience in their respective specialities and I’m sure they will both play a big part in our story going forwards at this critical time in our company’s growth journey.”
