Connect Mortgage Club announces BTL specialist seminar for brokers

19 March 2014

Connect Mortgage Club (CMC) has announced they are hosting a buy to let and specialist finance seminar to help brokers master all aspects of unregulated property finance.

The event to be held in Milton Keynes on April 2nd, is tailored to give mortgage brokers and intermediaries a valuable insight into the current buy to let market and acquire useful tips and knowledge direct from lenders and industry experts.

Topics covered at the event include:

• BTL lender criteria and products
• Complex BTL lending including HMO and multi units
• Complex applicants such as limited companies and offshore entities
• Structuring refurbishment lending
• Deposit funding using equity loans
• Portfolio lending for large property holders
• Different ways to use bridging finance
• Arranging loans for Expats and Foreign Nationals
• Financing property purchases abroad

Liz Syms, Managing Director of Connect Mortgage Club, offers a wealth of experience across all aspects of domestic and international property finance and will be a key speaker at the event. Liz commented “We launched CMC back in 2012 to help empower mortgage brokers with the same tools and knowledge that we as a company had worked hard to acquire for many years. This technical seminar gives us a first hand opportunity to provide brokers and intermediaries with whole of market advice across a wide spectrum of BTL subjects, as we deliberately avoided focusing on just one or two lenders, so to give better practical advice to those who attend.

She added, “In addition to providing useful tips and guidance on how to overcome the many complexities that lie within the BTL sector, we will also be covering other unregulated property finance areas including; bridging finance, equity loans, overseas and expat mortgages, to help brokers understand the full range of options and commercial benefits that lie within these markets.”
