Experienced STL manager joins Shawbrook

Shawbrook Bank’s Commercial Mortgages division has brought Andy Thurston on board as a Short Term Lending Manager. With his strong background in short term loans, Andy’s appointment is part of Shawbrook’s ongoing investment in its dedicated STL desk, supporting the bank’s rapid growth in the STL market. The specialist team focuses on delivering within the desired timeframes on every deal, while providing excellent service and the most competitive pricing.
Andy Thurston previously spent two years working as an underwriter at Tiuta in London, before transferring, in 2012, to West One Loans in Hertfordshire, where he worked as an underwriter and Case Manager for a further two years.
Andy commented on his new role:
“I’m really excited to be joining Shawbrook during a period of considerable growth and am looking forward to contributing towards this growth and success over the coming years. I have been really impressed with the products that we offer our brokers and the service that is provided and I hope to be able to add my experience in the short term loan industry to the STL team.”
