ATTIVO APPOINTS NEW INVESTMENT MANAGER SIMON FELL

21 July 2014

Attivo Group, the national wealth management firm, today announced the appointment of Simon Fell in a newly created role as investment manager, reporting directly to chief investment officer, Charlotte Watson.

Prior to joining Attivo, Fell spent 14 years as an investment manager and IFA, most recently at Fidelius where he was the investment manager for seven years, during which time he was responsible for the launch of Parallel IM.  With significant experience of managing portfolios for clients, including running discretionary portfolios, Fell joins a team of specialists at Attivo who together manage and advise on over £500m funds under management. The new role will see Fell taking responsibility for much of the team’s sector-based fund research and the development of client facing propositions.

Charlotte Watson, chief investment officer of Attivo, explains:

“In a period of continued growth for the business our investment experience is becoming more and more in demand.  Having Simon on board will significantly help us ensure that our clients have access to the highest levels of professionally qualified advisers at all times.  He was an outstanding candidate having had so much relevant experience and we are confident his input will be widely embraced both internally and externally by our growing investment client base.”

Simon Fell, investment manager of Attivo, comments:

“There are very few successful wealth management groups which can offer the breadth of experience and services which Attivo does.  Having worked for DFMs in the past I am very keen to further this experience in a company which equally offers the ethical and responsible client-focused environment which is so important.”

Attivo Investment Management launched in 2013 and is approved as a discretionary fund manager with the FCA.
