MBE 2014 a success story

15 October 2014

Mortgage Business Expo (MBE), the essential event for intermediaries and financial advisers, is delighted to announce that its return to London for 2014 was a great success – so much so that the date for the 2015 London event has already been announced, with a further regional show in Leeds on April 22nd. Visitors flocked to the Barbican Centre’s Hall 2 to see what the exhibition with a 13 year heritage had to offer in 2014 and from the feedback received from visitors and exhibitors, it seems they were certainly not disappointed.

The seminar programme once again produced standing room only in many cases, with some fantastic speakers, including Philip Calvert, Steve Carruthers, Gary Clarke, Christian Faes, David Finlay, Mark Jones, Gary Little, Kamran Rehman, Gary Salter, Keith Street and Henry Woodcock. Additionally, the quality of exhibitors meant that visiting financial intermediaries had a wealth of people on hand to offer expert advice relevant to them.

But don’t take our word for it, here is what just some of the visitors and exhibitors this year had to say:

“It’s been an incredibly positive experience exhibiting at MBE 2014. The show is a thoroughly enjoyable opportunity to meet new people as well as old friends and it was good to be part of a vibrant industry event. We exhibited last year at the Excel Centre and have to say that the venue this year was absolutely perfect.” Phil Coombes, Head of Intermediary Sales at Leeds Building Society.

“Thank you MBE 2014 and well done on putting on an excellent and worthwhile show. It was a great networking opportunity for Loans Warehouse and I'm really pleased we made the decision to exhibit at MBE this year.” Matt Tristram, Director, Loans Warehouse.

“We were really pleased with this year’s event. I think the change to one day definitely drove visitors through the doors. From an exhibitor point of view, we don’t want periods of inactivity, so this worked very well for us. But it wasn’t just the volume of people, we found that the quality of visitors was also high, and we left with around 120 good quality leads to follow up.” Wayne Oldham, New Business Manager, Aldermore PLC.

Mortgage Business Expo 2015 will return to the Barbican Centre on October 7th 2015. You can find more information, including details of how to register, at: www.mortgagebusinessexpo.com.
