  • Referrals to Legacy for the setting up and drafting of trusts and trustee support.
  • Referrals to Legacy for other estate planning products such as establishing a deed of variation.

Based in Lincoln, Legacy works with advisers, introducers and clients from across the country and the LLA has agreed highly competitive commercial terms for all those placing business with the firm.

LLA was launched in 2014 and offers later life advisers across product areas such as equity release, long-term care, and annuities, with access to training and sales support. At the same time it is developing commercial opportunities for members through its relationships with Product Ambassadors.

Stuart Wilson, Managing Partner of the Later Life Academy, commented:

“Establishing this new relationship with Legacy is a great next step for the Academy and our members as we seek to expand our overall offering but also deliver specific services such as this for estate planning referrals. Many later life clients will be in need of such a proposition and our agreement with Legacy means our members can have the confidence to refer and introduce, knowing their clients will be looked after by one of the leaders in its field. We certainly want our members to look at the opportunities that exist for them and their clients, as estate planning should be one of the cornerstones of the holistic advice structure they can, with the Academy’s help, be building. Over the course of the year we will be further enhancing the services and opportunities we offer members and we will continue to establish strong relationships with quality businesses such as we have done here with Legacy.”

Ian Peace, Executive Director at Legacy Wills & Estate Planning, said:

“We are delighted to be the partner of choice for estate planning referrals from Later Life Academy members. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible to help them understand just how important end of life planning is and what the benefits can be, not only for them but for their family and loved ones. There is great synergy between our two organisations that should see us help each other achieve our goals. As one of the largest Will and Estate Planning specialists in the UK we are well positioned to assist LLA members broaden their product offering and form part of the holistic advice structure they are working towards. We are looking forward to working with LLA members and are very excited to see how this relationship develops over time.”
