Brightstar strengthens sales team

Brightstar, the UK’s leading specialist lending distributor, continues to develop its external sales team with the appointment of Nathan Ellis-Calcott.
Nathan, with over ten years lending experience particularly in the second charge and commercial mortgage sectors, having worked at The Loans Engine and Commercial First Mortgages, joins the team run by Director of Sales & Marketing, Clive Willson.
Chris Bennett became the first Business Development Manager for Brightstar at the beginning of January and the appointment of Nathan Ellis-Calcott means that the company is now able to develop more business in the north of England and Scotland to complement the coverage Chris Bennett provides across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
Clive Willson said, “Brightstar has an award winning proposition and is already extremely popular with introducers. Now we want to reach out to the many other potential introducers who want to engage with us face to face. Having Chris and now Nathan on board gives us a fresh approach to take the Brightstar message directly to the intermediary community. Nathan comes to us with a strong pedigree and a reputation for working closely with adviser firms of all sizes.”
