SortRefer debuts ‘game changing’ conveyancing app for quotes and instant updates

03 February 2015

SortRefer, the online conveyancing portal, is cementing its position as the true pioneer in the conveyancing market, with the release of the first app dedicated to providing brokers with a way to provide quotes, monitor client cases on the move and also receive instant updates of progress wherever they are.

SortRefer comes into 2015 after a record year in 2014, in which it won multiple awards for its online portal and the service standards of its conveyancing panel. It was also the first conveyancing portal to provide accurate quotations following the sudden announcement of Stamp Duty changes.

The app, available on Android today, will be in the Apple Store later in February, and provides users with a 24/7 link to the portal for quotes and clients’ case progress.

Features include:-

  • Ability to obtain instant conveyancing quotes from phone or tablet devices.
  • Pulls through all client data including - saved quotes, active, completed, archived declined and canceled cases
  • Ability to save quotes and email them anywhere as PDFs
  • Individuals can view and access their case summaries on all aspects of active and closed cases
  • All case tracking milestones are ‘pushed’ to the app such as case acceptance, sending out of the client care pack, when it was received, completion and any notes uploaded by the conveyancing supplier

According to Managing Director, Kevin Tunnicliffe, the new app will help users take the conveyancing experience out of the office and have key information available in real time on any device.

He said, “This is a game changing advance for brokers. Not only are they now able to get instant and penny accurate quotes at any time, but they now also have real time updates on progress and access to new, existing and archived cases in their pockets.”

He added, “ For busy brokers looking after multiple clients at different stages in the process, this acts as an instant reminder facility so they can follow up clients immediately. It will help to cut down wasted time and speed up the whole system. We  have  been testing the app and our trial users have been very impressed.”

Toby Bennett from Rainey Mortgages and Insurance has been testing the app and has given some positive feedback. He said “I really like the app and see some good functionality. I find the instant case update notifications very helpful, especially as I do keep up to date on my case progress as much as possible for my clients. Overall, very useful to have, easy to use and will make my life even easier. I will be sure to recommend to my colleagues.”
