Financial Services Race Day to bring entire industry together

15 July 2015

Front Events, the events company headed by James Prosser and responsible for the Financial Services Expo (FSE), has today (15th June 2015) announced details of its second annual Financial Services Race Day which will bring the entire industry together for a day of networking, promotion and racing.

The Financial Services Race Day will take place on Wednesday 23rd September at Goodwood Racecourse and has been specifically designed to allow members of the financial services community and their professional partners to convene in wonderful surroundings.

Goodwood is renowned as being one of the most beautiful racecourses in the UK set high in the Sussex Downs and part of the 12,000-acre Goodwood Estate situated just outside Chichester.

The day is also focused on raising funds for Front Events’ chosen charity, WellChild – the national charity for sick children. Last year over £26,000 was raised by the Race Day for Well Child.

The Financial Services Race Day offers a full hospitality package for attendees offering tables of 10 guests access to the racecourse from 11am and taking in a champagne reception, three-course lunch, afternoon tea plus unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks. All guests will have colour race cards and access to a ‘table tipster’ to help with those all-important betting decisions.

James Prosser, Director of Front Events, commented:

“Last year’s Financial Services Race Day was such an incredibly successful day helping raise a staggering amount of money for WellChild, that we had no option but to host another event in 2015. The financial services community is known for its generosity, its love of a good time and a flutter, plus its ability to support those events which seek to bring the industry together, particularly when it’s in aid of such a fantastic cause. We are therefore promising another wonderful day out for all those who attend Goodwood in September and are sure that, as in 2014, there will be plenty of businesses and individuals who want to support an event which is now a firm part of the financial services’ calendar.”
