Anti-money laundering (AML) pioneers SmartSearch have become the only online verification platform to offer business credit checks.

SmartSearch is already the only organization in the UK with the ability to verify individuals and companies in the UK and internationally all in a single platform via a browser or API, with full Sanction, PEP and adverse media screening and then ongoing monitoring.

Now, the Leeds based AML firm is able to offer business credit reports, becoming the only online verification platform to be able to offer this level of due diligence on businesses.

This latest innovation enables clients to see an overview of a business’ credit score. With a click of a button, users of the SmartSearch system will be able to access four years’ worth of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, key ratios and payment history.

SmartSearch will be able to check and monitor any UK companies, view in-depth credit history – including information on whether the business has CCJs or has ever filed for bankruptcy.

This enhancement to SmartSearch’s already comprehensive Know Your Business (KYB) offering – which includes Ultimate Business Owner checks - gives users immediate access to the most complete and in-depth analysis of business credit information, enabling them to make a decision about whether a potential new client is financially stable.

This latest development in SmartSearch’s award-winning AML platform comes at no additional costs – all current and future users will automatically have access to business credit checks.
