Buckinghamshire Building Society are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Dick Jenkins as the new Chairman of the board at the Society.

Dick has been on the board since April 2018 and succeeds Mr Robin Bailey (who stays on the board until his retirement at the next AGM). Dick is a former Chief Executive of Bath Building Society (for 15 years) and Chairman of the Building Societies Association. He has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities for a smaller building society and his broader industry experience complements his commitment to the mutual sector.

On commencing his new appointment Dick commented: “I very much believe in the values of Buckinghamshire Building Society. Our motto of “doing the right thing” is demonstrated through our long term commitment to our customers, through the nature of service we provide and the products we offer, together with our commitment to supporting the local community.”
